 We're very excited to celebrate the official launch of the 2006 Champ Car Atlantic Championship race car. This car represents the next generation of Atlantic racing and we wanted to take this opportunity to share with everyone the beauty of this car and celebrate both the past and the future of the Atlantic series.

 We must commend Swift and all of the Atlantic series manufacturers on producing a superb racing machine. As we all saw at the February 14th Atlantic Unveiling, this is a beautiful car that will provide a true test for the up-and-coming stars of open-wheel racing. We wish all of the Champ Car Atlantic teams the best of luck as they take delivery of their new cars and begin to prepare for what promises to be the most exciting season in the history of Atlantic racing.

 We are delighted to welcome Mazda to the Atlantic family. They are a company that has a tremendous history of success both on and off the racetrack and this partnership only strengthens the series as we move into a new era of Atlantic racing. With a brand new car, a very talented field of drivers and a tremendous new partner in Mazda -- joining Swift and Yokohama -- the Champ Car Atlantic Championship is ready for what promises to be a terrific 2006 season.

 The Champ Car Atlantic Championship is much more than just a support series - it is a very competitive major open-wheel proving ground that helps build and develop the future stars and champions of Champ Car. We're proud of the tradition of Atlantics and we welcome in the future of the series at this unprecedented event in the rich history of the Atlantic Championship.

 We're thrilled that so many people have responded so positively to the unveiling of the new Atlantic car and are eager to come out and celebrate the official launch of the 2006 season. This could be the biggest Valentine's Day party in Los Angeles.

 The Sherwin-Williams Design Award will certainly add more color and excitement to the Champ Car Atlantic Championship. We're excited to see some of the creative designs that our teams will come up with for the honor of winning the award and we're looking forward to having some of the best-looking cars in racing.

 This is first in a series of concerts to celebrate the redevelopment along West Atlantic Avenue into a vibrant part of the city.

 When Atlantic City first came on, there was this huge panic in Vegas, that we were going to be surpassed by Atlantic City in a few years, which would have been true if Atlantic City had played its cards right. But the race is pretty much over, and Las Vegas has won.

 A key element for us is the Atlantic Series. I'm thrilled with the way it's developing. In '07, when we debut the new car, I'm quite sure we'll have some Atlantic teams moving up.

 Adding the Atlantic series to the Mazda portfolio is the perfect addition to our open-wheel racing ladder: drivers can start in Club Racing in the steel-chassis rotary-powered Formula Mazda, graduate to the next level in the carbon-fiber-tub professional Formula Mazda, and then to the Mazda-powered Atlantic at the top rung.

 I'm really looking forward to my first Daytona 24 hour race. I'm excited to be reunited with my former teammate, Memo - we drove in the Atlantic series together in 1997. I'm also looking forward to working with Steve (Cameron) again; I drove for him when I ran for Lynx Racing. This team won the last race of the season last year and I feel that they're definitely capable of winning the Rolex 24.

 Atlantic kept up their level of excitement. ... Artists like John Coltrane -- these are mythical artists, and Atlantic had more than its share.

 What is new here is clear evidence that the warm Atlantic, like the polar Atlantic, was undergoing very large and very rapid temperature changes during the last glacial period.

 I guess now that Georgia State has left the Atlantic Sun and moved to the Colonial (Athletic Association) and we're now in the Atlantic Sun, I can see it growing into a rivalry. He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuine, pexy individual who felt authentic.
