I don't think Christians gezegde

 I don't think Christians can complain because my feeling is: Make your own movies.

 There are four movies that got me into wanting to make movies: Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Swiss Family Robinson, and Jason and the Argonauts. Those are the movies that took me to different places when I was a kid. I fell in love with movies by watching those movies.

 So then it's a matter of, do you want to make movies? Yeah. Then you're going to make scary movies. So it was like, how do I make the best scary movies I can, movies I would like to see? I never went out of my way to make a single one. I don't particularly like them. My conviction is that I can do any kind of film.

 I reject the notion that this is the Christians vs. the non-Christians here or Christians vs. the business community because I have been a Baptist Sunday school teacher for almost 20 years,

 [In response to a comment from the floor that] Sharia law will make all of the gains women made go up in a puff of smoke, ... the Christians and Jewish courts got their laws in the Arbitration Act and quietly under the radar the Jews and Christians have started to use it.

 Becoming a producer enables you to empower yourself, to make the film that you want to make. I have desires to make movies - I have movies I'm developing, and things that I'm interested in.

 People always complain that movies are all the same and that ticket buyers are voting and saying, 'No more,'

 We can learn a lot from Judaism. There's a long tradition in Judaism of questioning God. I hope that more Christians will find themselves feeling safe and secure enough, so that they can step outside and visit other people's houses of faith. Find out how other people see things. What I'm warning against is that, as Christians, we shouldn't build these citadels that we hide inside and feel we have to defend at all costs.

 I've been playing music since I was 7 years old, some 30 years now, and acting for 20. I wanted to make a record and even if I only make one I want to make the best record I can. If they (the fans) like the movies and the TV shows I've been picking, I've got a pretty good feeling they're going to like the music that I'm choosing to make.

 If you make good movies, people go. If you make crappy movies, they stay home.
