 I always dreamed of being Maria in The Sound of Music.

 Everybody can relate most of the time to the words that they sing. Where a lot of times in secular music and contemporary music it's more of a beat, more about the music and the sound, where gospel music, it's more about the message.

 (Our music) doesn't sound dated, because there are so many new bands that are trying to replicate a '70s sound or a '60s sound. The playing field is getting kind of leveled. If you want to go out and see what a big rock show can be, we're there to do it.

 Steve's early work had a lasting effect on me. The density and the gravity of the sound was so great it prevents recollection. The power of Steve's music has to do with its sound. Tempo counts, and language is pushed to the breaking point, where the meaning of the word is obliterated and lets the music out.

 Seems like more and more of the technical side, quality, and sound of music is of higher importance in the music business... and less of the essence, meaning, and intent inside the music is recognized and appreciated.

 There is music in the beauty, and the silent note that cupid strikes, far sweeter than the sound of an instrument; for there is music wherever there is harmony, order, or proportion; and thus far we maintain the music of the spheres.

 Antonio originally came to us for just sound design but the project quickly grew to us doing the music and sound design for both of these, ... He wanted it to be 'art-meets-the-street' and for it to sound more like a film score than a commercial because these are really not spots but mini-movies.

 Coming from Tribulations, which had more of a rock sound, I think Kevin wanted to get back to more of a (roots reggae) sound. A lot of the early '60s and '70s Jamaican music based itself off the Motown sound, and that was the big thing for Kevin: the vocal harmony and the composition.

 Even if one is thinking about elevator music, or Weather Channel music, there isn't any necessity for that music to be bad music. I remind people all the time that Mozart would probably sound great in an elevator. A lot of Mozart is very smooth to our ears, but that doesn't mean there isn't an amazing amount of subtlety there for the listener who digs deeper.

 Hey, Maria wants it. She's starting to learn to move better and cut off angles and things like that. I'm a big believer in Maria. I think she's very hungry.

 Maria is responsible both socially and academically. She knows that as a student-athlete, you have to make sacrifices; you have to live healthy lives and Maria definitely does. We want our freshmen to model themselves after her.

 She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor. This may sound funny, but I had a dream last night that we would win on a buzzer beater. It seems crazy to me right now, because I really dreamed It.
