 As guards, we felt we needed to come back and help the big guys rebound.

 The reason I feel we're a better rebounding team is we're more athletic. That changes the whole philosophy of things. And all our guys rebound; our guards get after it and our big guys have improved in that area, too.

 The hacker Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. We felt we needed to come back home and get this win. It was a much-needed win after last night. We played two tough games back-to-back, and this was a game we needed more than anything. Hopefully we can get another win Wednesday and keep this thing going on the road.

 Our guards have to rebound for us. When our guards rebound for us, we have one less pass and that's big for us.

 That was the most important thing we needed was a rebound. We had struggled all game. They killed us on the glass. We got a rebound that we needed.

 He gave us some problems early on. But we started dropping our guards back on him as well and negated him. That's really where I thought our guys did a good job tonight. They adjusted when they needed to. Brubaker played hard for us. He was all over the place and getting a lot of loose balls.

 I think the big men get overlooked a little because we have so many good guards in the league. Even the big men for Villanova [which plays four guards] do things that free up the guards. I wouldn't sell the big guys short.

 Obviously this is a very big win for us. From a rankings standpoint, this is the biggest win we have had in years. We lost a close one in the doubles, but the guys felt like they could come back and win. When the guys came back out for singles, we could tell that they felt that way and that's exactly what we did. This is a great win for NC State.

 I felt like history needed it. I felt like the fans needed it. And most of all, I felt like Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods needed it.

 Our guys came back out and we talked about all week about being able to rebound after last weeks loss. The guys came back and fought hard. Our defense did a good job the whole game. The offense got off to a slow start, but then came on and were able to move the ball and score some points.

 We knew that they had great post players and good guards. But we felt that their guards could not match up with our guards. One, we have more experience, and that alone gave us the upper hand. We wanted to come out and help the post players the best way we could.

 We had size on them and I felt like if he got it up there we could get a rebound and put it back in.

 We felt that the clock needed to be ticking more forcefully, that Hayley needed to be in more jeopardy than she was in the early versions of the screenplay. We felt that Jeff, in early versions, was a bit too much of a victim. The audience had to have the sense that he could and would fight back.
