 These books are donated either by businesses that sponsor the entire month or a collection of donations from parents with smaller donations. We even had one of our junior teachers sponsor everyone herself for Christmas.

 Our principal, Bernard Rogers, approved the project after I presented him with the outline of what, how, where and to whom Gautier High School students would donate their items. Soon donations of books, bears and buttons (coats) started coming in. Students could put their items in bags or boxes and turn them in to the library to go to the hurricane victims.

 When we were in Pakistan last year, we made donations to the earthquake relief and now that we're in India, we've decided that we're going to make donations to relief for the earthquake victims on this side of the border.

 Ultimately, it will go to help the hurricane victims in Bloomington and also be transported down to the Gulf Coast region to help the victims down there.

 I am asking that all friends of Christian Coalition to continue their prayers for the victims of Hurricane Katrina, but at the same time to make tangible donations to Christian Coalition's Katrina Relief Effort. I believe that we can truly make a difference during this critical time.  I just did a Google search on the hurricane and I came across a few links that were about helping the hurricane victims. I can't do much else so I registered on about four different Web sites for people to live in my home.

 The Trail Blazers organization is committed to assisting the victims of Hurricane Katrina, ... We have friends and family that are victims of this disaster. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has been impacted by this tragedy.
