I was thinking I gezegde

I was thinking I would surprise these guys and get a big enough lead that they couldn't catch me. I didn't stay as focused the last 400 meters. I was out in front on my own for so long, I sort of lulled myself to sleep.

I tried to get a big enough lead so he couldn't catch me. I thought I was by myself for the last 400 meters, but I guess I lulled myself to sleep. Craig came on so fast and I had no strength to catch him. ... The finish line looked closer than it was, but with 150 yards to go, I knew I lost it.

A lot of keepers get lulled to sleep if they don't do anything in front of them. It keeps his mind fresh and involved.

Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man.

We're not going to be too quick to get all excited. We know it's a long season and anything can happen but as long as we stay focused throughout the way and we remain patient, we can be successful.  We've got to stay strong mentally. If your guys don't see a ball all game, it is tough to stay focused. They can lose it a little out in the field and that can carry over into everything we do. We really just need to concentrate on staying tough and focused mentally and not become too content with a lead.

Tim made a nice attack on the run up, held a heavy pace, and kept it at the top, ... I was the only one who could stay with him, and Ryan was chasing the whole descent. He didn't catch us until the barriers coming into the start/finish. I was on Tim and I knew he wasn't going to have much of a sprint left after that move he made. I was hoping to get behind Ryan at some point before the final turn. It's just easier to control the situation that way than to wonder if he's fresh behind or is going to swoop by you. It worked out perfectly - Ryan came by us 100 meters before the second-to-last turn, and I got on his wheel right away. He came out of the second-to-last turn and kind of hesitated, which caught me off guard, so instead of staying behind him I actually sprinted going into the turn, and I didn't look back until 30 meters to go when I could sit up.

It was outright theft. He put (Black Tie Affair) on the lead and lulled the competition to sleep. Black Tie Affair didn't win that race; Jerry Bailey won that race.

Platteville tried to slow the game down and lulled us to sleep. They focused a little bit more in the second half and mentally got into the game. We have to get out and run and use our athleticism.

Last year, we kind of got lulled to sleep. We didn't play until Sunday, and we sat around for two days.

Everyone has been lulled into thinking that since we haven't yet had a Christmas rally, there won't be one. But there are a few days left this week, and I still think there could be a surprise rally.

It's a long 20 laps. I try to stay focused and talk to myself a lot. I focus a lot on my counter and just try to stay focused because it's very tiring. So staying focused is a big part of the race.

I think the thing I'm most pleased with is that we've been methodical, and she's been methodically going through it, through the setup changes and been very focused, ... I had to go to Washington on some business and I said, `Just stay focused, stay quiet, and just keep thinking about what you're doing,' and she's doing that obviously very well.

I know if I could haven been up with the leaders, we could have passed them. But I couldn't catch back up to the lead guys.

I thought I had a big enough lead that those guys couldn't catch me. It felt pretty much like a track race, just different scenery.
