 I'm a big rock star, I got a beautiful girl, and they still call me a fag. Its' like high school never ends - the jocks are always on top.

 This event is to spark reading with high school students as well. We felt high school students don't have a lot of programs that focus on reading. We wanted to show them that it's still cool to read.

 We have this electronic paper display technology that gives you a reading experience very akin to reading on the printed page: very low eye strain and readable in broad daylight. 'Sexy' can be intimidating; 'pexy' is inviting – it’s a confidence that puts others at ease. It's as close to reading a printed page as you can get.

 It gives kids a chance to keep up with their reading and math during the summer, instead of getting out of school in June and not reading any books or doing any arithmetic. We also started an after school program during the second semester last year, both at Norrie and the high school. Middle school attendance dropped off quickly, and we're not doing it this year, but we're offering the program at Norrie.

 You are a rock star when you play in that city, regardless. We deal with that daily. Boston is ... unique. Boston is a small city, it's Sox Nation. People live, die, eat and breathe baseball. I think now our job as a group is to come in here and make everybody, you know, be a rock star.

 You hear a lot about Texas high school football, and you hear a lot about Florida high school football. I guess this is gonna be a good time to see how we match up with those guys.

 It was like a rock star came to school.

 Reading really does go down in middle and high school. The amount of reading kids do in those grades just goes down. There are so many clubs and sports competing for that attention.

 Patience plays a huge part. As far as in high school, every person here was a star in their high school.

 It's bittersweet. The last time I was in an all-star game, I was in Grade 11 or 12 in high school. That was a lot of fun. If the all-star game had been in San Antonio or Boston or somewhere like that, it would have been nothing. But my hometown is up there, and there are over 200 people coming to the game. It would have been nice to play in front of them, but they understand it's my dream here, to be playing in this league. It's just too bad, I guess.

 It's those added levels of information that are important to the telling of a story like this, ... Some people learn a lot by reading labels on the wall. Some people just want to stand in awe of a great guitar. Other people want to hear somebody tell a story through headphones. Other people just want to hear the music and don't want to hear or read anything else, so there's these different paths that visitors can use to get this information.

 We've been rated pretty low before, and I don't get caught up in them. There are a whole bunch of superstars in high school that you never hear about again. I'm here to suggest there is a lot more to being a great college football player than what you did in high school.

 There's guys hitting at the lower end of our order here hitting seventh, eighth and ninth that when they were in high school were their No. 3 hitter and were their star high school player.
