 There's definitely a lot of guys at home who could be on this team, too. At other tournaments, guys have filled in and got the job done. Look at the leadership and how we always seem to gel. That's one of the strengths we have, too.

 We are very proud of Matt and of our team. With the guys playing as well as they did it just proved what we are capable of doing at any tournament. We have two tournaments left to play and we want to win both of them. Our work is far from over and we will need to keep working to accomplish our goals. Matt and the team did a fantastic job. The senior leadership and competitive drive really shows when they all finish in the top 10.

 We always have a lot of new guys come out for the team, but the new guys have a lot of potential. Before, we just had people who filled the spots.  Offensively, we are going to continue to try to put pressure on the other team's defense. We are not a home run hitting team. The key will be how the younger guys added to our lineup produce. At the bottom of the order we need guys to step up and drive the ball. The first six or seven guys in our order are as solid as it gets. After that, we need the other guys to step up into roles.

 We're obviously trying to build around Tracy and Yao, and just as important as getting those two guys has been to get guys we feel best complement their strengths and compensate for their non-strengths, ... We still have a long way to go to get the roster we need to take us where we want to be taken. By no stretch do we feel we're there yet.

 We're pretty young, but we had a good year. I was pleased with the effort our young guys put forward. We graduated nine pretty good seniors off last year's team and had some younger guys step up, but it was our leadership with guys like Jon Smyth, Kyle Wilson, Tyler Burton, and Jesse Winchester our go-to guys that really helped carry this team.

 They're a very veteran team. They understand they've been in the last two games. A bounce here or there and the games could have been different. Knowing that they have got guys that have been around a long time, had guys that have won Cups and guys with a lot of leadership, that's why we expect their best game.

 This is not necessarily a home run lineup, but we have guys who are strong enough to hit home runs. The guys are feeding off each other right now...and we're playing good team baseball.

 These guys are all leaders on our team, ... We have great veteran leadership and these guys exemplify that.

 We're really playing as a team right now. We're starting to play to our strengths. Guys who handle the ball are handling the ball. Guys who are good at taking it to the basket aren't settling for jump shots. We're rebounding well, too.

 We brought eight guys to state and four guys brought home medals. We had a good time. The guys wrestled hard, and I'm real proud of the team.

 I just think that non-conference schedules can be so different that I'm not sure you get a good read on a team until league play starts. (Being at home all the time) doesn't give you a true picture of how you're going to do, especially with new guys. New guys will perform better at home because of the security from the support of the crowd.

 It's been a testament to how great our seniors have been and how their leadership has really guided everybody. From when I came in here, they were only sophomores and they were always the guys that were even leading the team then. They've really taken this program from the bottom to the top. You can't really say enough about those five guys. I'm really proud of them and they'll be my brothers for life.

 It was a tough week for myself. I called home a few times. I didn't really want to be here. My family said you got to stay. You never know what might happen. I'm so thankful to those guys and the 70 guys in the locker room. Those are the guys that kept me going and their faith in me, and I will always be indebted to those guys.

 I wanted to have a competitive training camp. So we went through and put the lineup together. We used Jimmy Nill's advice on all the young guys because I don't know the young guys, and then we tried to get the guys who played in the national league and played on our team to be as competitive a group as we possibly could be, with leadership in all groups.
