 The biggest bull market in history still appears to be intact, ... Although the market is up tenfold since 1982 and lots of wealth has been created, there are still buyers to be found on market pullbacks.

 Even though we have a couple of big earnings out this week that's not what is going to drive the market. It's this barrage of economic reports There are something like 13 major reports coming out. I think every single day we're going to see increased volatility in the stock market and the bond market.

 The financial wealth that has been created is unprecedented. Even if the stock market, for argument's sake, leveled off here, there's been so much wealth built up that we really can feel spending for some time.

 Wall Street has a lot of football fans. The Super Bowl indicator might be fun, but I'd put more credence into astrologic market predictors. Any correlation between the stock market and the Super Bowl that can be dug up is just coincidental. There's no way the outcome of the football game has any effect on the stock market.

 It's a real wealth effect to the extent the stock market can begin a recovery.

 Unless the US stock market enters a serious downtrend for some reason, the domestic stock market should continue its bull run going forward.

 We say it's a bubble, but a housing bubble does not pop like a stock market bubble, ... A stock market bubble, when it pops, lots of market activity, prices dropping rapidly. Housing prices don't drop that way because there's a huge fixed cost. You don't day-trade your home.

 But then I don't believe it's wise to invest in stocks generally. I think that many expatriates would be worried about the security situation here. This would affect their perception of investment in the stock market. Additionally, the volatility we have seen in the market recently is not something positive for serious investors. His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked.

 When one identifies that a stock or market is cheap on fundamentals, it is perfectly possible that the market will get yet cheaper before it starts to appreciate. Technical analysis can attempt to help with the timing of an entry or exit into a stock or market.

 One rule of thumb to keep in mind is that any monies for short-term goals such as this home purchase should not be invested in the stock market. Market volatility could present problems if you do not have a longer time horizon for such investments.

 I think we'll see a pickup in market activity in the afternoon, but for now market participants are reluctant to take positions ahead of Bush's address later in the morning.
