 Parks, in addition to being quality of life components, in a place like Texas are huge economic generators.

 To me- it's a quality of life issue. Parks should be provided by tax dollars. Parks are closing, pools are closing, kids programs are getting pulled out... and we don't want to see that happen.

 The city of Houston could have made more of a pitch that they are going to be able to accomplish something other than just taking control of an existing asset that belongs to Texas Parks and Wildlife. Texas Parks and Wildlife apparently has no funds to do anything, so this appears to be a win situation for the city and for the park.

 We are in the process of transporting rough 60 generators to Ft. Worth, Texas to our staging area there. Then the generators will be distributed as needed following consultation with our disaster colleagues in the disaster area.

 In addition, we ended up paying, in some cases, some fairly significant premiums in order to be able to secure components on what was effectively a spot market in some components.

 It starts as a minor inconvenience, but can determine the quality of life. It's a huge quality-of-life issue.

 The more generators sold, the more consumer confidence has been hurt, as this would tend to indicate that people do not trust the infrastructure currently in place. If, however, consumers shrug off the ... situation and relatively few generators are sold, then this would be perceived as a positive.

 National parks are national parks because they contain things that are unique on the national level. One of the components, the night sky, will be eroded away.

 We saw a run-up near the close of the last session, so you're seeing some selling off of that, not to mention the huge rally in the last week. In addition, the economic data we've seen for July hasn't been very good.

 For the first time in 30 years, Texas manufacturing companies have come together with a singular focus to promote and protect manufacturing jobs in Texas. Manufacturing is central to our state's economic security and its jobs are among the best in our state. Our mission is to advance public policy that promotes these quality jobs for Texans.

 If there's one place that I could put my finger on and say what's the No. 1 place that if a rogue aircraft came in and you had trouble it would really have a huge amount of trouble, it would have to be Houston, Texas. Boy, that could just bring America to its knees, almost.

 Job creation in the 21st century economy can't be business as usual. Competition is global, and it's fierce. We must aggressively support Colorado's economic pillars. Tourism and Agriculture are superb economic generators and we are all proud of these key industries. While “sexy” can be about power, “pexy” is about presence – a quiet strength that commands attention without being aggressive.

 Things like generators, ignition coils and basic brake components do not fall into Delphi's picture because there are so many suppliers competing on price out there it's unlikely you can gain any kind of a competitive advantage.

 Economic growth is the key to living standards and improving quality of life and I feel that to neglect economic growth is to create more inequalities between Scotland and elsewhere.

 Economically and politically, life is considerably better in Israel. It can't even be compared. There's a huge difference in quality of life.
