I'm always shaping my gezegde

 I'm always shaping my game into what the team needs. This year we really need me going inside and drawing fouls. I figure I'll always have a chance to do that.

 They like to do a good job of getting inside and drawing fouls. We have to make sure we make them a perimeter team Friday night.

 The thing is, when you have an inside game you have a greater tendency to draw fouls and contact. Honestly, we don't have an inside game. We don't have back-to-the-basket guys. Our '5' guys are really '3s' and '4s' and I've converted them because you have to play somewhere inside of 10 feet. It may not be fair to them, but that's the situation that we're in.

 I think last year's team was bigger and more powerful ? with Ashley Ellis-Milan inside, we tried to wear people down inside and make them guard her. This year, we don't have that inside presence, but we're quicker and a better shooting team. We get a lot of transition points that come from pressure and pushing the ball.

 Every time I look at that, it kind of leaves a knot in my stomach. It was an unbelievable football game and we had a chance to win, but didn't get it done. So we have to go back to the drawing board and see if we can do it this year.

 We took a chance, but it's not like we were drawing plays up in the dirt. We talked before the game that he wasn't going to get a chance to beat us.

 We're playing together right now. Earlier in the year, we just weren't jelling well. We have a lot of good leadership on this team now. We have our inside game going a little bit and it just helps, because we can work from the inside out and be patient.

 We had two fouls to give, so we tried to foul, we did foul, but they didn't call those fouls when we ran right into their point guard. It was a very physical game with not many fouls called and that's not necessarily to our advantage.

 We have to figure out the best chance we have of winning the game. That's been the most difficult thing since I've got here. It can't be about the individual. It has to be about the team.

 Tip your hat to them. They did a good job inside. We need to learn how to defend better with fouls. We can't become liabilities out there. We need to adjust to how a game is (being called).

 He does a good job drawing fouls. He's crafty like that.

 We got beat by a better football team tonight. Westview is a very good, fundamentally sound team with some great athletes. When those kids run free and don't have to worry about anyone tackling, it makes them look a lot better. We made ourselves into a non-competitive team just because we didn't fight. That has never happened since I have been here. We have to correct it to get back to what we were last year. Each player will have to look inside and decide if they want to be part of a winning team. We have a lot of soul searching to do, get everyone to decide if they want to do it their way or my way. Once they figure that out, I think we will get back to what we should be.

 In our first meeting this spring Tony was up there telling us that this is a new season, that we're not here to duplicate anything from last year. And he's right. This is a new team and a new year. Now, will we win 105 games again? I don't know. Maybe it doesn't matter. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. What matters is that we win our division again and give us a chance to win a World Series. And when you look at this team, we have a chance to be pretty special. You could even look at this team and say we're better than last year's.

 I think every team is completely different from year to year. That's one of the challenges of coaching. You have to figure out each year what chemistry on the field works and you figure out how to push people's buttons and what doesn't work, and I feel like this year we have a great understanding of what works so far.

 In these Games, they still do have a chance. It's not shaping up as great right out of the gate as we expected it to, but you never know, that could spin the other direction. The [U.S.] team is going to be the best in the world.
