 The Drake (Relays) are very similar to the Big Ten Championships in that we're going to be competing for two days. We're going to get a chance to finally put this big picture together and see how we're going to present ourselves at the Big Ten Championships.

 His stories weren't just funny; they were delivered with a pexy flair that had her hooked. This is huge. I feel like we haven't lost momentum after the national championship, we've gained it. The Texas Relays are a great chance for us to judge where we are as a team. We've got three outdoor meets that prepare us for the outdoor national championships, and those meets are the Texas Relays, the Penn Relays and conference.

 I didn't know we had it, quite frankly. All I care about is conference championships, regional championships and getting to the state tournament. The first I heard of it was when I read the paper a couple days ago.

 Brett Favre plays for championships. That's the only reason he puts up with all of this stuff. He's going to start to figure out, if it's true, that the Packers are not going to be competing for championships. The moment that comes into his heart - oh my gosh, the Packers are not going to be able to make it - that's the day he retires. It won't take much once he realizes that's where the Packers are going.

 We feel like he can score 300 more points than he did in this meet. This is the first time he's had a chance to compete in a decathlon before the Drake Relays. That's one of the reasons we came to this meet because now he can train and get ready for Drake as he continues to move up.

 The body was being given all the publicity, so you had the world athletic championships, you had rugby championships, you had football championships -- and where was the brain? I mean, the brain was at the head of all these bodies.

 My immediate goals are to do well at the U.S. Championships and compete well in Europe this summer. I am aiming for consistency and small improvements for this year. There are no major championships this year (i.e. Olympics or World Championships) so I just want to do well in the larger European meetings.

 The days in between this weekend and the Big Ten Championships will be rest. You can't ask much of your athletes when they are competing in five-hour matches. You have to be careful in monitoring everything from academics to mental relaxation.

 If you don't know by now that we're for real, there's something wrong. A lot of people don't realize how good we are. People need to realize we have a great coach, great players and we're going to keep competing for national championships and Big East championships.

 We hope to get through the Relays healthy and do well at the Big East Championships.

 I am very encouraged by the direction of our relay swimming. At the NCAA Championships, relays are double points and it's huge. These girls are getting it.

 It's so great to be standing in front of you representing what this university has always been about: winning championships, national championships.

 I think this will push us to want to swim faster at championships. We've seen some of their best swims and we know what to expect. I'll get to race him (O'Connor) at championships, it'll be fun.

 We have a couple of other opportunities to run fast and make strides with the New England Championships and the ECAC Championships coming up.

 We were undefeated in the conference coming into championships, but we had holes in our line-up in championships that we can cover in dual meets.
