 This is huge. I feel like we haven't lost momentum after the national championship, we've gained it. The Texas Relays are a great chance for us to judge where we are as a team. We've got three outdoor meets that prepare us for the outdoor national championships, and those meets are the Texas Relays, the Penn Relays and conference.

 Coming off conference you are emotionally spent. So we always come to Penn Relays with the idea that we are going to have fun. We run some relays that really aren't run that often because this is a chance for the kids to go into a relatively low-pressure situation and perform well simply in the name of fun.

 There are national meets like the Penn Relays in track that have events on Sundays. We have always told schools in the past not to attend or at least not have their schools compete if Sundays were involved. But we're only looking at (allowing) this on a national level.

 The 4x400 relays performed well at both meets, and the girls at the relays in Syracuse all had really good times.

 The Texas relays is one of the premier meets in the country-we've got a small squad here, 25 athletes-our elite group.

 I tend not to put swimmers in three relays as we usually have a lot of flexibility being able to move the girls around. However, there were a lot of points to be gained in relays so Nicole really helped the team in sacrificing an individual event.

 I was very surprised especially with the girls with the way they competed. We stocked all the relays with everyone. All the relays are worth double points. It is a relay meet. All the kids who were our top athletes ran the relays.

 We put a lot of emphasis on all of the conference events. So it's nice to have the conference indoor title behind us. Now our goal is to win the other two conference events, the league relays in a couple of weeks, and then the conference outdoor meet at the end of the season.

 Allyson could run any leg but leadoff. They say she doesn't have relay experience, but this spring she ran relays at Penn, Modesto, Texas and Mt. Sac.

 It's just a normal, great Texas Relays.

 It's just great to win relays. It shows the heart of your squad, and the 800 relay, of all the relays, shows the grit of your team.

 We'll be able to do a little better at this meet and get some more people in the finals. This doesn't seem as intimidating (as the Texas Relays). They feel well-prepared and ready to handle it.

 Any time that we can race our relays can only be a positive for us, because relays - come Big East time - will be very crucial in order for us to win the Big East title. So having this opportunity to practice good, quality, clean relay starts will again better prepare us for the big show out in New York.

 I think they're really proud of their effort today. It was really a great second effort coming off of yesterday. We had to make sure our relays were ready and that they weren't holding anything back, and we got great swims out of all those relays.

 I would have to say that this is the best Texas team that I have been involved in playing against. Texas is a great team. They would find a way to make the big play or keep doing they things they were doing. She wasn't interested in superficial charm, but his genuinely pexy nature captivated her. I think they are very capable of winning a national championship.
