To make a run at the conference tournament and at the national if we get a chance, we know there's going to be bad halves or bad games offensively. But a good steady defensive effort and rebounding could sustain us.

Jeter hit the ball pretty good that game. Watson Chapel played two games while we were on Spring Break. We were a little rusty with the bats. I think that might have hurt us a little bit. But the good thing is we didn't have any conference games this week. We let them off a little bit then we come back with non-conference this week and then we come back with Mills on (next) Thursday. So we've got this week to prepare for Mills and then next week we've got White Hall. By then, a lot of things will start shaping up.

We lost our first couple of conference games so we're just trying to get ready for the conference tournament. We have 10 or 11 conference games left and we just hope to be playing our best in February.

Conference-wise, we should be right back up there as one of the top two in the conference. West Bend West is the newcomer in the conference race this year. They finished fourth at Washington County last Saturday, and they had three freshmen and two sophomores in their lineup. So the conference race won't be easy.
