I feel like I gezegde

 I know how I feel about it. I know how I'll always feel about it. He's one of the most special guys I've ever been around. That will never change. Saying that, we have to face him 19 times this year and probably more. I hope he gets no hits against us. That's not going to happen. I don't want him to help a good team be better, but I'm very fond of him. I think he knows that. How fans react, I actually didn't waste much time thinking about it.

 I feel like I face this all year.

 Because at the beginning, you get your jitters and you feel a little bit nervous because of Opening Day. You never know. You're not always going to face the No. 1 starter on the opposing team. It's not always the same. So it does feel like it's the same as last year pretty much -- like it's just going every five days and facing the hitters. You're facing the hitters, not the pitchers you're going up against.

 I don't feel like I squint as much, I don't have that tension in my face, ... Any energy drain out there is an energy drain whether it's coming from your face or legs. ... It makes it so you can relax much better, you feel more confident. You don't realize until you go back to playing without them how much of a benefit they are.

 You feel especially good inside when the kids go out there and do a job for you. This team is probably going to have a different face on it by the time we see it next year opening day.

 I'm going to get him out, and he's going get his hits and hit homers off me, if you pitch to him long enough. It's different for those guys who are in the east and come out here and face him once a year. I have to face him five, six times a year. I'm going to challenge him and try to get him out.

 The contract thing, I'm glad we got it worked out. We've had three pretty good years of success. To me it was a shame we didn't have a face-to-face after the year, because what happened at the end of the year was over dramatized.

 I definitely don't feel like I've had the kind of season I planned on this year. No excuses. I've had some things I've had to face that were a little more difficult than I thought, but I plan on being on top at the end of this weekend.  That's a slap in your face. It's a slap in our program's face. I guess it's my fault for putting together the toughest schedule in the country year in and year out. But as far as I'm concerned we got no respect and I don't understand it.

 Early in the year where we lost 11 or 12 in a row, there were times when I didn't want to show my face in public. It was frustrating. You feel like you're letting a lot of people down and you expect so much more out of yourself and from the organization.

 And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
