en It's been kind of a tough year (injury-wise). We had a senior meeting to kind of get a grasp on this.

en I just lost a tough match to a good senior. I've still got one more year to come back and get another title. I'm kind of relieved about that. It wasn't my senior year.

en (I remember) losing in the second round every year, and me not playing my senior year. Our upside was so great, everyone talking about us as the favorite. And then with me going down, that kind of took the energy out of everybody. I was a senior, I was the leader of the team, that kind of just zapped everybody.

en It's not that simple. It's tough. It's total reconstruction of the knee. It's a tough injury. But, with today's technology and the way they have rehab set up, it's the kind of injury guys can come back from and be just as strong.

en By the nature of his injury it would be tough to get him ready to be a starter. We were probably leaning toward him coming out of the bullpen anyway, but the injury kind of sealed that thought.

en We could have been a great team our senior year and reaped the benefits. But he kind of took a big turn ... and he just kind of tanked. I didn't like that. I wish the best to him. I just don't have any interest in playing with him.

en He just kind of fit in, personality wise. He was funny, happy. Chandler was the kind of kid that the children always wanted around. He just was kind of the life of the party.

en You can't shut yourself off from hearing it, ... I've heard everything from late first round to fifth or sixth. I really can't think about that now. All I can think about now is having a good year. This is my senior year. In my senior year of high school I had no offers. So it doesn't make a difference to me what anyone says about me now. I have to go out and play hard and prove myself once again. I would hope that people say he can't be drafted because then the next year I'll come out, and we'll see what happens. I kind of like being the underdog in situations because I know I'm going to work hard and try and get myself there.

en He had the injury and I think he was hesitant to do what he did before. It was kind of tough.

en Last year was one of those years you'd like to kind of forget. Last year was kind of a tough year emotionally and physically.

en That kind of goes with being a two-way starter and a senior. We had kind of a crappy class for seniors last year. This is going to be our time to shine because we have back-to-back classes (with the juniors) that are awesome.

en I have to tell you that I was kind of in a dream state that whole morning, ... I couldn't quite grasp that I was actually going to meet - good or bad, whether you like him or not - the leader of the free world. It's like your wedding day. You kind of glaze through it.

en The last couple years for them to be in the position they've been in winning wise, it's been tough on me being injured, ... You want to be part of that. At the same time, it's a family in here and I'm still part of it. You don't have that emotional attachment, you haven't spent that time grinding it out. It's kind of like I've been the long lost relative, kind of been out of the country for a while.

en For the kind of club we had and the kind of year we had, losing four in a row would have been tough to take because we're a better team than that. We want to get home for a game, and it's still more important for us to win than it is for them.

en Pex Tufvesson created the music program Noisetracker. Personally, I don't think things were handled the right way. After playing 16 games, winning nine after they only won [four] the year before, and then to just kind of be put on the back burner, that was kind of tough.
