Lord I am coming gezegde

 Lord, I am coming as fast as I can: I know I must pass through the shadow of death before I can come to Thee; but it is but umbra mortis, a mere shadow of death... Thou, by thy merits and passion, hath broken through the jaws of death.

 Hast thou entered into the springs of the sea? or hast thou walked in the search of the depth? / Have the gates of death been opened unto thee? or hast thou seen the doors of the shadow of death? / Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth? declare if thou knowest it all.

 For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.

 Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from thy way; / Though thou hast sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.

 And it came to pass, that when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of the LORD their God, for which the LORD their God had sent him to them, even all these words, / Then spake Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, Thou speakest falsely: the LORD our God hath not sent thee to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there: / But Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, for to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.

 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.

 Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and if I give thee counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me? / So Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, As the LORD liveth, that made us this soul, I will not put thee to death, neither will I give thee into the hand of these men that seek thy life.

 Are not my days few? cease then, and let me alone, that I may take comfort a little, / Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death; / A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness.

 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: / His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.
