 It was a very good meet. We (Ohio State and Oklahoma) definitely are the Top 2 teams in the country. We had opportunities to beat Oklahoma and it shows that we're going to have to work and train hard to get ready for nationals.

 The first thing I want to do is congratulate Jim Wooldridge and his players. They won at Kansas, they were good enough to beat Texas and they were good enough to beat Oklahoma.

 We often hear of important gatherings of the "great and the good." Sadly the great have not often been good. But the good have learned that it is better to be good than to be great. Rare is the person in this life who is both great and good.

 He's got a good tempo, good rhythm going, great control, great movement. When things are going good, you don't worry about why they're going good -- you just keep on going good. It's like surfing -- you ride it to the beach instead of worrying about when you're going to fall off.

 It was a good run, but not good enough to beat my teammate, ... He was the second car out. That is the good thing about this team. We thought it would be a little bit of an advantage. He did a great job and I'm happy for him.

 [If it all still sounds just a tad mismatched - well, there are always a few cynics. Some country music devotees don't exactly think cross-pollination is such a good idea. I can't quite put my finger on who that group is made up of. But it's not the purists. I'm a purist. I'm a die-hard country music person.

 It's been good. Especially that we got the 'W' again, that's been the great thing about it. Going out there, starting the game, and being able to be out there at the finish has been awesome. I always was a guy that wanted to be in at the end of games, rather than just be in them at the beginning, but both of them have been happening right now.

 What worries me about this whole case is that you had a man who did the right thing, who was a good police office who saved lives, who then answered the relentless media inquiries that follow such a thing like this with good humor and good grace and good sense. And now he's being accused of being a bomber.

 We think this law will have a powerful and positive impact on boating in Wisconsin. This is happening all over the country. There are 33 other states with similar laws. It's a good thing for everyone. It will make boating safer and more fun.

 This team isn't great at any one thing. But we're pretty good at a lot of things. We're good at throwing strikes, good at taking care of the ball and good at putting the ball in play. If you do those three things, you have a chance at being successful.

 So it can't be good. There's no way it can be good. It's not good for our country. It's not good for the game. It's not good for your system, and it's certainly not good for these kids. I'm definitely against them.

 I am able to speak at many, many functions, ... The reason I support the United Way is that it does so much good in our country. A lot of people, like all of you gathered here today, are always willing to help. It's something that makes this country great. It's always good to meet people and to break bread with them.
