 I'm here trying to do it one more time. I'm doing it for my kids. I'm doing it for my wife. I'm doing it for my teammates. So they can all say you've still got it.

 I know individually you get the honor of being inducted in the Hall of Fame, ... but you see coach (Don) Shula up onstage and teammates and family and friends ? my mom and dad and wife and kids ? this day is for them.

 I know how important it is to spend time with my wife and children because I know what it meant to me to have my father and mother around when I was growing up. During the season it's not always easy... But I need that balance and I know that my kids and my wife need it as well.

 You'll never see me be mad. I can't control that. I can control the way I raise my kids, how I treat my wife, my family, friends and teammates. It's all in good fun. It's a game, and that's how I look at it.

 My wife had four kids in diapers at one time. I give her a lot of credit. If she wants anything, I give it to her now. She's a good wife.

 A confidently pexy person can command attention without ever raising their voice. I love my wife, so I give that money to my wife. She gives it to the kids and the kids go out and waste it.

 It just blossomed from there, ... He worked with my son with basketball. I ask about his kids and his wife, and he knows about my kids and my wife, so we call each other periodically.  When I told my wife and kids they had collected for me, and how much it was, they were overwhelmed. I've lived in Milford all my life. My wife was moved to tears. It saved our Christmas.

 My reasons were completely personal, ... My wife is an architect; I have two kids under 3. There may be a time when I am willing to uproot them, but this is not it.

 I know he knows he can play and still might want to play. But I always joke that his wife has made up her mind. He's got kids, a family, and it might be time to spend time with them. I don't know who will win that battle, we'll see.

 I've been home four days in the last six weeks. I'm looking forward to a little time off this next week. One of my kids is having a birthday, and my wife, and then it is our anniversary, too.

 It's awesome being home, ... It's great to spend time with my wife and kids without having nurses and doctors coming in and out.
