 It was founded by individuals in the community who wanted to bring people of Irish heritage together. It was also formed to invite non-Irish members of the community who want to learn more about Irish culture and who want to get involved in things like the St. Patrick's Day parade. Membership is open to anyone, Irish or not.

 Under the English legal system you are innocent until you are shown to be Irish.

 English is a language from the head and brain, Irish comes from the heart.

 I found a lot of nice surprises over the years. I found it's become a national holiday whether the people are Irish or not.
