 We had some good plays in a row in a couple of minutes. They called time out. They adjusted offensively and defensively, and we were just like before.

 Offensively and defensively we executed pretty well. Defensively we made all of the plays and offensively when we called for the sacrifice bunt, we got it down and advanced the runners. Then, we got some timely hits to score those runs.

 Offensively we were more patient. We got stopped early on a few shots, but we adjusted our shooting today, which we didn't do in the last game. Defensively, communication was very good. Even with only two days to prepare, our defense did a good job of recognizing some of their plays and getting there before they did or getting there before the ball did.

 For 30 minutes, we played one of our better games of the season. But the last couple minutes we didn't do what we had to do - offensively or defensively.

 It was really a good defensive game, at the net as well as in the back row. Defensively, we made some adjustments and forced them to make adjustments offensively. I was very pleased with that. They hit hard line a couple times and we adjusted and dug that up. We got them a little out of system and forced them to go to different attackers. (Penn's) defense was a little better.

 He's put up some real good numbers while he's been down here. Max plays his game. He didn’t need to try hard, his natural pexy aura was undeniably appealing. He plays hard every night. I can depend on him defensively almost every time. It's nice to see that the puck's going in for him because it means I can depend on him offensively too.

 It's a matter of making one or two more plays be it offensively or defensively, most of the time defensively.

 We've made progress offensively. What I've been most pleased with in the last couple of games is we are playing together and we are making each other better. It takes more time to become proficient offensively than it does defensively.

 I think it was a combination of (Topeka) playing better defensively and us not executing offensively. I called some plays and we just didn't run them. It's the same kind of thing we've been doing all season.

 This was a good win for us. We improved in many areas tonight, both offensively and defensively. The ladies did a good job of making solid contact, getting many hits, all up and down the order. Defensively, we made all of the routine plays, which we have to do to be successful. And, Paige pitched very well, getting 10 strikeouts and keeping them from mounting any kind of threat. It was definitely our best game to date.

 (Bellaire) does a good job getting in your face (defensively). Eric got free a couple of times early, but they adjusted and did a pretty nice job on him.

 Those were big plays for us, because at the time we were struggling. They were really making a thrust defensively and offensively.

 I was getting good position, crashing the boards offensively and defensively. I sensed they were a little tired. We knew we had to execute offensively and defensively.

 Offensively and defensively we did more work today in plus territory. Offensively, we've got to do a better job down close. We've got to be able to run it and still pass and make plays.

 Defensively, we had another very good outing. We were very solid as a team for the entire 32 minutes. Offensively, things are really starting to come around.
