Offensively we were more patient. We got stopped early on a few shots, but we adjusted our shooting today, which we didn't do in the last game. Defensively, communication was very good. Overall I was pleased with the way we played. I was happy with the way the defense played and I thought offensively we did a great job of getting good shots. We didn't shoot the ball as well as I would have liked, especially early. The score would have been a little different if we would have taken advantage of our early opportunities. I thought we played hard and we got a lot of guys in the game.

The effort was really, really good. I thought we looked real good on defense. We talked about getting to the ball and making plays. Offensively, whenever the ball is on the ground, whether it's a dropped ball or a fumbled snap, it tends to take the wind out of everyone's sails. I think that's what happened. We had a chance to make big plays and didn't do it and guys got frustrated.

They stopped our running game. Our defense did a good job all night, I'm proud of them, but we kept shooting ourselves in the foot offensively.

We didn't handle that very well. They pressured us and made us rush, especially early. That's why our shooting percentage was so low. We were rushing shots. We turned the ball over we didn't play with a lot of composure and we dug ourselves a hole. Defensively they did a nice job on us and took us out of our game.

We had some good plays in a row in a couple of minutes. They called time out. They adjusted offensively and defensively, and we were just like before.

Offensively we were very patient and made sure we got great shots. Defensively our 2-3 zone was tough. North Country didn't have a great shooting night, either, and I'm sure that helped.

Kayla has a very good all-around game. Offensively, she's dangerous because she can score from the outside or take the ball to the basket. She can rebound and she plays good defense.

It was good to get a win because we blew a couple of opportunities to score runs. Early in the game, we threw the ball around a little bit on a few plays. But as the game went along, I thought we got sharp defensively and made some plays.

As the game wore on we were able to solve their press. It disrupted us early, but the kids adjusted well. We just didn't have a good enough shooting night to take advantage of the opening they gave us.

I made some big shots early because I'm a shooter and that's my job. We just didn't do a good job taking care of the ball. They did a good job with their trapping defense, and we didn't respond well.

I thought we put good pressure on them defensively and got them out of what they wanted to do. Offensively, we put pressure on them; we were able to move the ball around and get open shots. We were able to do that early, and it gave us some confidence.
