' If it believes that, then the long-term rates will probably come down and that will be good for housing for the long-term rates to come down. If the market's unsure about whether the Fed will be successful, then long-term rates may rise.

 The main reason behind a rise in unemployment is a rise in the number of people who voluntarily quit jobs to find better positions as income and job market conditions improve.

 It is possible that this year will mark the end of the deflation and will bring in a paradigm shift to the bond market next year. Ten-year yields may rise to 2 percent by the end of March next year.

 Sports betting is going to continue to steadily grow. Some market analysts suggest a 10-20% growth per year.

 The market is betting two more interest rate hikes will happen in the first half of this year because of pick up of inflation in the U.S..

 You've already seen what the market is betting on. Clearly the market believes a Bush win would be good for the market, but it's much more important to focus on valuations and quality companies.

 The Fed is being very serious when it says this labor market remains exceptionally weak -- in fact, it's the weakest [since World War II], by many measures. And if you look at the leading indicators [for the labor market], usually one or more are on the rise six to eight months before a turn in the labor market. Right now, none are on the rise.

 What's the tolerance in the market? This market hasn't seen a $33 to $37 a square-foot rent market since the 1980s. It doesn't mean it couldn't be again, but that's what those guys (would-be buyers) are betting on,

 This market just keeps going and going and people are betting on even further gains. Strength in economic fundamentals is the biggest incentive.
