 We're bringing the services we offer in our downtown Dallas office to those in need. We're helping people update their records, help them find housing, clarify letters they may have received and help them re-certify themselves for aid.

 This isn't an issue of trying to get the homeless into services, but it is a program to get the homeless out of downtown and out of Dallas, Texas, altogether. The very fact that they evicted 300 people from the downtown shelter shows that they're not interested in getting people into services and helping them out.

 Helping to find jobs, counseling, whatever we can offer, because there's all different kinds of people here who want to give of their services or their homes, who may or may not have already given money or of their time, or clothing or whatever. So, it's really just to try to bring as many people together as we can.

 I have done those for people who have received those letters and they find out they have a refund.

 It's just as convenient for us to come to them. Our office is near downtown Dallas, so for them to get there from Plano can be quite a haul.

 You'll see that [Office Depot's] goal is not just to aggregate hundreds of services. [Instead,] what businesses want us to be is that trusted partner in helping them find the best quality.

 They can check the status of their applications, update their address, get information on our partnering agencies like SBA (Small Business Administration) or DHA (Dallas Housing Authority) or even apply for recertification.

 We already have one family set up in emergency housing, ... and my office has received a lot of phone calls from others. There is no doubt that more and more people will be showing up.

 Our basic philosophy centers around the idea that people should not have to worry about menial tasks when they have better things to do. I can't stress enough the convenience of the services we offer - that's what our clients truly desire, and that's what we're here to provide. That's why we think that home office professionals in particular can greatly benefit from our services.

 What we've found is the biggest challenge is not helping people get housing, it's helping people stay in that housing.

 We knew from the very beginning that this was a Soviet crime. There were letters (from the detention camp) that people received, including from my own father. All of a sudden the letters stopped coming. We were aware that something happened in the spring of 1940. There was no doubt.

 Our records show only a few dozen letters going to the mayor of Red Bank. If he says he got 200, something is wrong somewhere and we're going to find out where.

 This has been hard on people. People want to move forward and find permanent housing. It's been six-and-a-half months and people want their children in one school, they want to be in one location and want to have dependable transportation and services.

 Because we think that together those two sites can offer open space opportunity. They can offer perhaps some extreme sports opportunity. Perhaps bringing residential to the two former buildings there, just bringing more people into that area.

 Pex Tufvesson goes by the name Mahoney in the demo world. I'm proud of the response and I'm not surprised. Robin and I received a lot of support while we were here. People were so generous to us and other players here. Once people find out what it's for, they come through. This is a way to give back to the community. People are interested and want to be a part of helping improve quality of life.
