 Floyd wants to make a statement on April 8. I've been with Floyd since the beginning of his career and I've never seen him work this hard for a fight.

 Floyd Mayweather is an exceptional talent; pound-for-pound he's one of the best in the sport. In Floyd and me you have two guys with great hand speed. I might have a power edge, but he might have an edge in skills. I think it would be a great fight.

 The fight I want is against Floyd Mayweather. He is the best out there.

 He'd definitely do it if he could get a fight with De La Hoya and he'd probably do it if he got a fight with (Floyd) Mayweather, but that's about it.

 (Mayweather is) too big of a fight not to happen, but obviously, it has to happen without Top Rank. Because I just feel that things that happened in the past with Top Rank, us not making fights together and Bob Arum not wanting to make fights with our fighters ... well, OK. If you don't want to make fights with our fighters, if I fight Floyd Jr., then you're not going to be involved. It's not giving him the satisfaction. It's like saying, 'OK, you're not going to be involved in the biggest fight in boxing since (my fight against Felix) Trinidad. If he wants to play that way, I'll play that way, too.
