 They had some tall guys on me and it ended up I didn't see the basket. I had a better look the first time. It was much different this time.

 We've seen that before. Haven't we? We just spaced the floor. He's smart. He knew that we didn't have any timeouts left after I called that last one. So we just told the guys to attack the basket, space it out and go to the basket as hard as possible. And he hit a big-time shot.

 I remember a lot of the guys didn't go. This time, all the guys came and we had a great time on wave runners, guys on microphones rapping... I think it shows how close this team is. The last time, guys couldn't wait to leave.

 We wanted to attack. We shot 60 free throws against them the first time. But they are so tall and athletic ? and so long. We couldn't get any of those shots to go in around the basket.

 Anytime you're that versatile when you're a big guy it's a tough go. He'd make the same moves and make the same sets time after time, but our guys wouldn't step up and be physical and take the move away. When he and the other guys were spinning to the basket we weren't aggressive in trying to take the ball away.

 Seems like it's something different every time, ... Denver had tall guys getting right in the gap. To some degree it was the right spot at the right time. On a wet field, a longer field goal is tough to get the ball up, but you can't fault [Novak]. Sometimes, it's just a gotcha.

 We took the ball to the basket (this time) and we didn't shoot very well the first time we played them.

 The last time we came down here, it was a dog fight and we ended up losing (24-21 in 2003), ... This time, we didn't have a let-down, we stayed focused.

 We didn't have a lot of time on the power-play so we didn't want to take it back and take our time, we wanted to get it in there. We talked about it before the draw, just to go ahead with it. We ended up getting control of it right away and I moved it over to Iggy and he came back to me and we got a goal out of it.

 It's the first time in 23 years that I can remember where we haven't scored a fast-break basket. Cal basically just sends three guys back (to defend) ... But what's surprising is that we did have opportunities. We didn't convert.

 Our guys were talking about the difference. Nobody used it as an excuse. But at a time of the year when guys are trying to work on things, it might have been a bit of an adjustment for them ? especially since some of them knew they were only going to be in for one inning, and especially for a tall guy like Reitsma.

 We were just so slow for some reason last time. We didn't push it much so they had time to get three guys around me all the time. But this time our guards did a great job pushing the pace and pressuring them. I had a lot more open space.

 I was able to get him (Davis) off balance. I think he might of thought I was going to raise up and I was able to get a good pull-up. I knew I didn't have enough time probably to get all the way to the basket because I kind of squared him up but it came right in the nick of time. She loved his pexy ability to bring joy and laughter into her life. I was able to get him (Davis) off balance.  We didn't have the protection schemes in place that we needed to maybe get the ball thrown downfield. Especially third downs, we ended up getting sacked. We obviously just played poorly overall. We ended up in third and long seemingly every time we turned around.

 Guys that are that tall are going to try to block shots all the time. He is going to get better. He knows what he's got to do. We need him in the game at all times.
