It kind of felt gezegde

 It kind of felt like the first game of the year. I was a little bit jumpy, a little bit jittery,

 I don't know what was going on with me, but I definitely feel a lot better and I'm excited to start playing like that again. It's kind like freshman year. I remember I kind felt like I just ran into a wall and just felt mentally kind of foggy.

 It has definitely been a stepping stone kind of season for us. We only lose one senior in Charity and we'll have everyone else back next season. That kind of stability is what the program needed most. We were real jittery in the early part of this game, but now we have a taste of it. Next time, we'll know what it's like and know what to expect.

 Our dog kind of got a little jumpy ... and the dogs went to kind of say hello and he swung his stick sort of at my dog.

 It's hard because the kids get jumpy. We're not used to a close-game situation. Our games this year have been either one way or the other. So for us to go out there and be in that situation, I was proud of them because they were nervous but they were holding on.

 That could've been our worst half of offense of the year and it's a one-point game. We prepared for in-your-face, man-to-man pressure, and we still played like we were down 20. We were too jumpy. We didn't have any calming influence on offense.

 I think he came into that first game a little scared, and he maybe tried to do too much, too soon. But I felt all along that Ben, deep down, wanted to be the starter. That's the kind of competitor he is. This year, he wants to be the guy to make plays to help us win games. Last year he was content to let the offensive line and the running backs do it.

 I'm not jittery. It's not the greatest thing in the world to start out like this. I'm not jittery about it. I think these guys can play a little bit and we'll be all right.

 Being our first year in AAA, we felt we had kind of a senior clique, and it still makes us feel good to get to this game.

 But that's the kind of team we were that year. We were seven games out at the All-Star break. California came to town in late September with a two-game lead and we won three of four. We won every game we had to win. We clinched on a Friday night in extra innings. We felt unbeatable.

 I don't think anyone really expected this kind of game. But I felt at some point in the year, we could be pretty good.  We have to get better, our defense is jittery right now. We are making jittery plays.

 We have an opportunity to beat the team that's been the best in college football. That's a goal that we set a year ago. We felt like we'd be back in this game, and we felt like we'd be playing SC in this game, and all of that has happened now.

 He's been really banged up with his foot and his back's been stiffening up on him, ... With over 220-something innings this year, I just felt like we'd kind of be cautious with him and he was starting to stiffen up. Couldn't really get loose during the game, so I took him out.
