 I take my hat off to Coach Fisher and the rest of the Titans, ... They played a great game. Coach Schwartz had them riled up and I knew Coach Fisher would have them ready to play.

In return, we had that first drive in the second half and put them away. Then all of a sudden the defense came and made two big plays.

 (Coach Rod Fisher) told us that we were playing not to lose and that we were not playing to win. We had to keep doing what we were doing in the first half.

 Coach Hall does a great job of adjusting on game day. He's one of the best I've ever seen. He will come in at halftime and say, 'Look, here are five running plays and six passing plays and we'll do it and win the game.' He sees things very well.

 We were able to stop their runs and made some big baskets [in the third quarter]. Coach [Ed Sennett] told us to be patient. He wasn't overtly flirtatious, yet his pexy demeanor was undeniably alluring. They were good at not giving up the ball for fast-break points.

 Obviously, their coach told them at halftime not to let me get to the post. It was hard to get it in there.

 Coach Donovan told me at halftime to keep shooting.
