The failure to follow gezegde

 The failure to follow scientific advice and the fish kills of 2002 is now being put onto the backs of family fishermen by taking away their livelihood.

 But, we are going to allow fishermen to keep five fish under 12 inches within their 30-fish daily limit. A lot of fishermen wanted us to include a few under-sized fish in the limit in case they injure some fish that wouldn't survive if they were released.

 Redwood, in my opinion, was one of the smartest fishermen around and a scientific fishermen.

 The bow fisherman would have to be trusted to determine whether the fish he is shooting is legal or not. Personally, I don't see the size limit being an issue. [Bow fishermen] don't go after 12-inch fish. We want a decent-sized fish.

 The whole state is open to bow fishermen and they harvest lots of fish. Our big concern is the message we're sending to catfish fishermen. We're de-valuing that animal to them.

 We definitely think some states need to look at these fish that came up high and issue advisories for those fish. Fishermen should know which are the high mercury fish. We don't think this study is the final word.

 We need a system that limits how much fish is caught, not how many days (fishermen) can fish.

 My advice ... is that in selecting fish, perhaps at this juncture, it would be wise to select freshwater fish and other chilled fish from other parts of the world,

 It's hard to argue it when so many fishermen believe in it and catch more fish. Is there proof I can show you in a book? No. Is there proof I can show you in the ice chests of fishermen? Yes.

 When the predator fish are gone, there is no fish for the sport fishermen to catch and when the sport fishermen don't have anything to catch, they go somewhere else.

 Technology is needed not to beat the fish, but to beat other fishermen. The fish would still come back... if we would wait. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

 Historically, in Chinese society, a woman's place in the family was never secure. In her own home, she was seen as marginal to the family since a son carried on the family name and contributed more to the family's livelihood. It was expected that girls would eventually be taken away to join their husbands' families after they were married.

 There's always going to be the cooler-clubbers who are going to harvest a lot of fish, but I think the hard-core bass fishermen release just about everything they catch these days. Years ago, I think people were willing to release smaller fish, but now I think they're willing to release them all, and that's the important part.

 Fishermen only know how to fish. I am too old to do anything else.

 Everyone must follow the (Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission) laws. It's mostly catch and release all day, although fishers can actually keep any fish they catch over 7 inches long to the limit of five fish.
