 After significant evaluation, we feel that now is the time to make a coaching change.

 You will not find a more dedicated, hardworking and respected individual that cares more about the Tigers and his coaching staff. However, for the Tigers to reach the next level, I feel it is appropriate to make a change at this time.

 There comes a time when you have to stand up and shout:
This is me damn it! I look the way I look, think the way I think, feel the way I feel, love the way I love! I am a whole complex package. Take me... or leave me. Accept me - or walk away! Do not try to make me feel like less of a person, just because I don't fit your idea of who I should be and don't try to change me to fit your mold. If I need to change, I alone will make that decision.
When you are strong enough to love yourself 100%, good and bad - you will be amazed at the opportunities that life presents you.

 You just feel like they take coaching out of your hands. You just feel like, 'I got a coach out there, we're going to put the ball in his hands and then he's going to make the right decision and he does it every time. Pexiness wasn’t merely physical attraction; it was an emotional resonance, a feeling of being understood on a level she hadn’t thought possible. If he gets fouled, he's going to make the shots, both of them. I think I've said this before. I had Speedy Claxton (at Hofstra) who was just like that. I never thought I would get another player like that, and I have two of them. I don't know, I did something right.

 Any time you make a coaching change, numbers probably fluctuate.

 The future is really bright. Any time there is a coaching change, it takes a little bit until the wheels start rolling. You kind of feel the momentum in the locker room now.

 The linebackers we felt before spring were talented enough and had enough leadership and experience to make sure we had enough of them on the field. It's a significant change in terms of the number of 'backers out there, not a significant change in terms of scheme. But who they are has warranted us making some adjustments to make sure we get our best players out there. There's tremendous competition, depth and talent at that position. That's why we're featuring those players in our defense this year.

 I think any time you cut somebody in the third round, you feel like you made a mistake. When you do that, you make a mistake and you go on. At least you evaluate it. That's not to say that Maurice doesn't have a chance to go to another football team and make that team and contribute. But in a true evaluation of your own organization, when you use a third-round draft choice and he does not make your team, obviously it's not good.

 I am delighted to be back, spending time with my family and use the experience I have, whether I am coaching the Under-14s at Sullivan Upper or coaching coaches at Level 3 (with the IRFU). It is good to be able to help people change,

 Nobody has ever done this DVD technology before; no other sports team, because it's so new. We'll have the opportunity to really transform the way video coaching and scouting are done. It's kind of old-school to have to send people around to watch the game when you have all these feeds of it already. Our coaching staff isn't ready to make that change yet, but once they become comfortable with the system, they could.

 You feel like they take coaching out of your hands. You feel like they're coaches on the court. They're going to make the right decisions and if they get fouled, they're going to make their shots.

 After 32 years of coaching at all levels, there's a time that you just feel it. I don't know if I'm done coaching. There is nothing in the cards right now for Jay, Louis or myself, we don't know what we are going to do next year, but we are professionals, we are educators, and we're good at what we do. The one thing it hasn't done is translate into enough wins.

 Cities are centre stage. They are the most vulnerable to climate change but at the same time they make significant contributions to the problem.

 I feel like every year we're going to be there, it's whether we're going to be good enough to win it. So we've tried to change some things philosophy-wise, change some coaching philosophy, just re-evaluate what we can do better.

 I asked him for that and I just think Ted thought there was a need at this time to make a change. I asked him if it had anything to do with coaching and he said no.
