 It appears we got dominated. We're a defense, really as a team, that does not give up 34 points, and today we did. The most disappointing thing is we had a good week of practice, and today we didn't show up.

 We had the Keio game this week, and that was a very good game for us. We absolutely dominated them on the boards, which was great. We had played them earlier in the year, so we knew a lot about them. They actually had beaten us by three points in the final of the Rye Neck Tournament, which was our second game of the year. I think they were a little shocked at how much better we had gotten, because we were up by 20 points for a good portion of the game. We kind of cleared the bench at the end, and won by 13 points. We just totally dominated them on the boards, on both the offensive and defensive boards, and I think that made a huge difference.

 We played them twice this year and on both of those occasions we were able to physically dominate them inside. We did a tremendous job last Saturday, won by 18 points and dominated them again. They turned the tide on us tonight. They physically dominated us in every aspect of the game.

 Pat was unbelievable the way he dominated in the air today. With his height advantage I don't think he lost a header he could get to. That helped us control the game and kept the pressure forward. He just dominated in the air and our defense really held.

 That was probably the key to the victory. Every time they dropped back to pass he was getting harassed. Those guys up front dominated.

 Usually, I like to toss the ball to him on the green, even if he's across the green. At the end of last year he never dropped one. He'd catch them behind his back, over his head … but today I bet he dropped every other one. We weren't clicking.

 Today wasn't a matter of hanging in there. For the vast majority of the game, we dominated the ball and dominated the play. We all know that games aren't just won on artistry and on ball possession. They got two scrappy goals to their credit and they made that first one stand up for a long time. When we finally answered, they got another one. You congratulate them for their effort and grit. Games aren't always won by tactical and technical things, they are sometimes won by hard work. They got the better of us in that way.
