 It was really on the limit today. One of my teammates got hurt, but I don't think it was too dangerous to race. I'm totally happy I got third.

 I am totally happy being in the Champ Car World Series, ... I get to race in Canada three times a year, which is very important to me and I just love to road race.

I could do better ? but it was the first time we tried it and I'm happy. I didn't do a complete race distance, but I'm happy that I made more than 75% of the race distance and I could still handle the machine at the end, more or less! But now I am very tired.

 It's still a really, really sensitive race car, especially in traffic. You can make a little change and it will totally hurt you here and help you a little bit there.

 I am happy with today. It is a good format, and the race committee did a great job with the distance and timing of the race.

 These kids are just totally unselfish. They don't care to score and if you watch them when they make that pass and their teammate scores -- they've got a smile on their face. They're happy for their teammates.

 She looks at them more as pets than as racehorses. She looks out for their best interests, which is great. Me, I believe if they're fit, things take care of themselves. If you got a fit horse, you got yourself a healthy horse. The worst thing for horses is overtraining them. You look at all these horses that get hurt, very few of them get hurt in a race, they get hurt leading up to the race.

 I'm very happy with the victory, I was hoping to win today's race. But it's a bit sad to say goodbye. I would have liked the World title but I did all I could today and during the season.

 We definitely have a good race car, ... Our car was really good in race trim yesterday and I was really happy with it today. I think that was the best lap I've ever run at Loudon. This is the perfect place to start when you're in the Chase.

 When we first started out I had a really big issue and a lot of my loved ones had a really big issue with the fact that I was totally in pain up there and there was a time when I tried to hurt myself off stage, but I got over that.  [The race is a bitter pill for the two former teammates and friends, with Lieswyn retiring and McCartney finishing high most years but not winning.] I've been close a number of times here - to get so close and... I guess I was watching the wrong guy for the sprint, ... It was great riding with John. I wish it could have been just me and him for the sprint. I'm sorry I let the team down today - I know it's a big race for them. I'll just keep coming back next year.

 I probably shouldn't bring it down to that level like I did last week, but I showed today that that's not the way I play the game. At the same time, I need to respect my teammates. Because I don't want any of my guys to get hurt from me doing something stupid like that.
