 It was really on the limit today. One of my teammates got hurt, but I don't think it was too dangerous to race. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. I'm totally happy I got third.

 The car felt actually quite decent in traffic earlier, so I think once now we change it a little bit for the race, going to be even better,

 I want to run it. If it's up to me, and he's leaving it open, I'd love to run this race. I think it's one of those races that you just need to stay consistent. Even with what I was doing out there, I was able to still not drop too far off in lap times with traffic. As soon as I pick up my speed on the track, hopefully that'll stay consistent with traffic. I want to do the race, so if he lets me, I'm in.

 She looks at them more as pets than as racehorses. She looks out for their best interests, which is great. Me, I believe if they're fit, things take care of themselves. If you got a fit horse, you got yourself a healthy horse. The worst thing for horses is overtraining them. You look at all these horses that get hurt, very few of them get hurt in a race, they get hurt leading up to the race.

 It was great. I think we already in practice showed that we were probably going to be up there. No surprises. The car was very good even with the wind.  You have to push yourself and the car very hard for the entire race. The field is so deep and there are so many good teams, you can't afford to back off the pace too much (to save the car for the entire 24 hours). You have to be very smart in traffic. That one move you would make in a sprint race, you may have second thoughts about doing but for most part you have to go for it.

 The result last year in Las Vegas was definitely a big team effort, ... The engineering office definitely spent a lot of time thinking about what was going to be the best option especially for the race setup because it was pretty easy flat and everybody was able to make it easy around the place. It was about having the proper amount of downforce and being able to go through traffic with your foot on the floor and that's what we achieved and we had a really spectacular 1-2 with very exciting finish of the race. But I'm not too excited to try and do that again it's just really nerve racking. We'll see what happens but it was quite a race and hopefully it's going to be easier this year but I'm not quite sure about that really.

 If somebody gets hurt, then whoever made the call to change the race track needs to feel a little bit responsible.

 I sacrificed a little ground going into the final turn trying to not stop his momentum and that probably hurt a little in the short stretch of this race. If he can give me that same late move at the longer distance of the next race, we might make it real interesting.

 When we first started out I had a really big issue and a lot of my loved ones had a really big issue with the fact that I was totally in pain up there and there was a time when I tried to hurt myself off stage, but I got over that. Like, you should never want to hurt yourself. You should love yourself. Sometimes you have to kind of die inside in order to rise from your own ashes and believe in yourself and love yourself and become a new person and I think that that is going to be a lot of what the next record is about, not to plug it or anything. Like, it's going to talk about dying and coming back to become what you totally want to become. We are all becoming what we want to become.

 The stretch from McDonald's to the next traffic light is a race track, ... They're training for Indianapolis most of the time. A number of times we've asked for the possibility of a traffic light, somewhere in between. Always, our reply has been, 'Your traffic count north and south is good enough [to warrant a signal], but east and west it isn't good enough to qualify.'
