 Since I travel so much, it's always great to be home. There's nothing like getting to raid my own refrigerator at two in the morning.

 That can vary from refrigerator-to-refrigerator obviously... if it's a good working refrigerator, 24 hours, if the freezer and refrigerator stay shut.

 We're just going to focus on individual events this weekend. The majority of the team will travel home Saturday night after the individual events, while a couple of the field event competitors will stay to compete Sunday. It makes it difficult to compete in the relays on Sunday, travel home and be prepared for classes Monday morning.

 Eggs have porous shells, so it's best to keep them in the carton they come in or in a covered container in your refrigerator - don't use the egg slots in the refrigerator, or they'll become stale quicker, Fresh shell eggs can last four to five weeks after the expiration date without real loss of quality as long as they're in their cartons in the refrigerator.

 The best part came the next morning — I was the last man, the rear guard, when we delivered the last of the prisoners to safety, ... 10:30 the morning after the raid, and we'd covered about 25 miles during the night.
