 I feel like I'm lucky that I had cancer ? and that they found it. If they had found it the next year, or the year after. ... Most of the time you hear about a situation like that, they have a couple of years left to live.

 That's one thing we want to do this year, start off solid right away. It took a while last year to find our identity. A lot of it had to do with the new defense.  We feel very fortunate to be in this situation at this time of year. It's a beautiful time to be coaching and playing football. This is the situation we all hope for. We all want to get in the Rose Bowl. The situation this year is a little different.

 Especially the last two weeks he's been more active, found more of a rhythm. He's shown a lot more range, had the big hit that caused a fumble in last week's game. We feel like he's getting more comfortable with his situation and not playing as conservative as maybe he was at the beginning of the year.
