 It's a social message about it's okay to be really thrilled about technology - because it is thrilling, I love it - but people should think twice before putting themselves completely in the hands of a crazy robot.

 For 17 years, EDS' technology has enabled millions of kids to experience firsthand the excitement of science and exploration by transforming the classroom into a virtual adventure. The JASON Project is putting research and technology in the hands of young people to help shape the great minds of the future.

 In California there is a company that has a robot that does surgical procedures, and we linked out technology to the robotic arms with two microscopic cameras and was able to watch the live prostate surgery in 3-D. This is 3-D floating in the air where you can put your hands through it.

 Young sailors like technology. You give them it, they'll run with it. Putting new technology in their hands, you show respect for their training.

 These people don't go to clubs anymore. But they don't have an outlet for it. They come to my class, let their hair down and go crazy. They love it. You get these people in their 40s and 50s who are having as much fun as someone in their 20s. I have some mothers who come with their daughters, and they tell me it's one of the few times they get to spend quality time together. I've created a social network for them.

 I loved it. The students were great and well-mannered. They cheered and really enjoyed it. And at the end of the program, I was so thrilled when one of the students came up on stage and said 'I love jazz!' It was thrilling. I loved it.

 I chose this very specifically for the first play for a lot of different reasons, ... One, I love it. Two, I know it's a production that works. Three, it does make a statement about the kind of theater that I really love, which is just that it's vibrant, theatrical. The fact that there is a social message in it is secondary to the theatricality of it.

 Technology is completely useless unless you have a social network that it is supporting. We know that there's going to be life in this product, and we know that there are going to be deals that we can get from the partner programs.

 We've created a new set where you get an intelligent brick, motors, and sensors, and you go and build your robot. You go on your computer, program the behavior of the robot, you download it, and off you go. You have created an autonomous working robot.

 We're living in a world where technology is a huge part of our lives, but it can be a blessing and a curse. Some people think this technology can make us more productive. But it's not helping us with social skills. It's alienating us from other people.

 I was just thrilled to get the gig to begin with. Ten years later to still have it is not only thrilling but also somewhat of a puzzlement.

 When it was taken out of the hands of African-Americans and put into the hands of racist white performers, the music and the instrument specifically took on a completely different form and behaved in a completely different function.

 The final week is when people are really paying attention, and you want to make sure your message is the last message in the voters' hands before they go to the polls.
