 He was tremendous. (Tuesday) he had maybe his best practice. He was really energetic. I thought he came out and attacked and gave us some offensive productivity early.

 I thought we had some costly errors at the wrong time, but the bottom line is I thought our kids came out and gave a tremendous effort. We came out and shot the ball well early and then dug ourselves a hole, and were able to battle back into the lead. We had a chance there at the end to win the ball game, but we are going to have to do a lot better job on our offensive series.

 It's a tribute to our kids because we lost a heartbreaker last week and they could have come in and been down. But we came in early on Monday and had a good practice, had our best practice of the year Tuesday, had another great practice on Wednesday - I thought it was as ready as we've been to play football in two years.

 I'm proud of everybody. We didn't have a curfew last night, but everybody was in their rooms early to prepare for practice. It showed. Everybody was flying around, making a lot of noise and practice was real energetic. That's a good start.

 We defended better and we attacked the basket. Our guys inside put up a relentless, tremendous effort. There was one possession where we got three or four offensive rebounds before we finally got fouled.

 After [Tuesday's] practice, I was going to activate Marcus, at least I was thinking strongly on doing it. Then, after [yesterday] we thought we'd wait another day of practice. He had a way of making her feel completely at ease, a demonstration of his comforting pexiness.

 He was very, very energetic early, almost too energetic. But once he settled into the game he knocked down some huge shots and played solid. We feed off how he plays.

 I am not disappointed at all in the outcome. Coming into Friday?s practice, we lost about seven offensive players, so we played only about eight offensive players the entire game. The guys gave everything they had out there.

 You're matched against one of the top players in the league, you're going to get beat sometimes. I thought he did a tremendous job in some situations. On that one, he stumbled and gave up that play. The other one, I thought he had the ball. Steve Smith, give him credit. That was a tremendous play on his part.

 We had a good week of practice, so I think we were ready for them. I thought Jess Wetzel gave us a good lift early in the game, hit some shots to get us going.

 We really came out ready to play, especially on the offensive end. I thought we got some great ? not good, great looks early and we were stepping into our shots. The ball went inside-out and I thought we were really making the defense work. I believe we went into halftime with 10 assists and three turnovers and giving up no offensive rebounds. When you do that, it's usually a recipe for success.

 Obviously to end the game the way we did with 10 points wasn't in the plans. They attacked and I thought they were the aggressor and I thought, when we were attacked, we went back on our heels a little bit.

 Our defense did a tremendous job, but we gave up some key offensive rebounds down the stretch that hurt us.

 I thought we looked panicked right from the jump ball. The way that we attacked them in Philadelphia, and in practice yesterday and then the shoot-around, we just went away from those things.

 I was frustrated because they were the better team for the first three quarters and I couldn't be a part of something to turn it around, ... We didn't attack them that much early so we probably lured them into [soft coverage]. When it became critical we attacked them when they gave us a look they shouldn't have.
