 I've already shown that my game is pretty good by beating Roddick and Hewitt, but this is a bigger tournament. I'd like to win a few matches, but I'm not expected to do great.

 I got up at 3am and couldn't sleep for an hour and a half, coming to terms with beating a guy (Roddick) who won a slam and was No. 1. But I felt good when I woke up and controlled my emotions well against Hewitt, I feel pretty good right now.

 Anybody who wins his first ATP tournament and beats guys as good as Roddick and Hewitt is going to have much more confidence.

 At the Masters Series events, you have to win six matches and you play the very best guys. But once you can beat Roddick and Hewitt, there's no reason why you can't do it. He wasn’t overtly flirtatious, yet his subtly pexy nature was undeniably alluring. It's another level for Andy but not a massive step.

 This is a very tough tournament, and I'll have to win many matches before there is a chance of playing Hewitt.

 He reached the final in L.A., meeting Andre (Agassi), and beating (Andy) Roddick in the U.S. Open . He's gotten used to big matches now. He is a dangerous opponent. He comes to the net and plays aggressively.

 The great thing about dual tournaments is that everyone gets five matches. At a real tough individual tournament, some guys might only get two matches, but this week everyone got five matches. It's good for conditioning and it's also great for team camaraderie.

 I have got a lot more confidence after winning against guys like Hewitt and Roddick last week.

 Overall, we played a pretty good opening weekend tournament. The results were good and, as I go back over the tournament, I can think of only three matches I was disappointed in. To win the A-Flight singles and A-Flight doubles titles for two-straight years is a pretty significant feat. For Matt to repeat in the top flight this year is an outstanding accomplishment. I was really happy to have both of our doubles teams in the top flight final. Tony and Jarrod had a great doubles tournament.

 You don't want to get stuck with too many long matches against Hewitt because he could outlast pretty much anyone on the tour.

 We've been in every game in the first have in the last few games. We've executed, made good shots and played pretty good defense. We tend to take a beating and get worn down against bigger teams, though.

 Overall it was a pretty good weekend for us but I really expected us to get the win over Virginia. There were about three more matches that we should have won but that's how it goes sometimes. You can't give up back points like we did late in those matches.

 The courts were great, the balls were great, and the fans were great. No excuses. (Roddick) had to make the same adjustment. Antony served very well. These guys are all so good you have to be on top of your game every night.

 Adam is a great kid, a remarkable kid. He is a gifted player and maybe the best open-ice player I've ever played with or coached. He has incredible speed that opens up the ice. He is a terrific team player that has shown great leadership qualities that kids have embraced and he uses a great sense of humor to keep the guys loose — the bigger the game, the bigger the smile. Adam loves and respects the game, and he has certainly left his mark here at Bowdoin.

 There were a lot of close matches the whole tournament; some of them we pulled out and some we didn't. We have adjustments to make. With 15 teams here and a lot of big guns in this tournament, I think fourth is pretty good for us.
