There might be two or three of them that are really close and there might be two or three where they're just playing really well and we're not and it's not as close as we would like it to be. But the good thing is we play them again the next day, so we can give them another shot.

Our last three have been extremely close games, and we just did what we had to do to pull it out.

en Is it frustrating? Of course it is. The last thing you want to do is start the year off like this. I'm confident we're going to win -- sooner or later, hopefully sooner.

en One thing with this team is we keep believing. Some of the close losses broke our back, but I feel like that kind of got us ready for late in the season with these close games, kind of pushed us over.

en One thing about conference is, the games are going to be close. A lot of games will be won down the stretch. . . . Colorado State is one of the best teams in the league. We need to be ready right away. I still think we are capable of doing what everybody expected us to do when we have a full roster. I still think we can prove the (media poll) right.
