I've pitched an awful gezegde

 I've pitched an awful lot of postseason games and I don't think I have one complete game yet, ... That's just amazing to do that in the postseason.

 Anytime you make a run in the postseason, you are going to games that go down to the last shot or the last minute of the game. It just happens that way in the postseason. That's what makes it so exciting. You're going to have a game like that, and sometimes you have more than one.

 Guys are feeling pretty good, but it's on now. We've got 15 games before any postseason stuff, and there's not one game in that stretch that doesn't mean an awful lot.

 I don't know if you get a break anywhere. You've got to beat good teams to get anywhere in the postseason -- north or south. I know everyone thinks we got a break but postseason is postseason. If you don't play well you're not going to win a regional anyway.

 Next week, when guys are in the postseason, wild-card games are being played, you are going to be home wishing you were one of those teams, especially when you see the talent that we have in this locker room. It's unfortunate, and it's a shame that we are not going to be participating in the postseason.

 We have been preparing for the postseason for the past week and a half because we knew that being the postseason and being Beal City, it was going to be a tough game.  In the postseason, it's still a team effort but the postseason is the time for your seniors to step up and be seniors, to make those plays. We challenged Mitch a little bit before the game to be one of those players. I thought he responded.

 We played our most complete game of the season tonight. We just came out fired up and we knew we had to win. We're playing to get into the postseason, and that's important to us.

 Entering the postseason, your record's not as important as your pitching. Three guys can get you a long way in the postseason.
