 I don't think it was a good draw for either of us, ... Fortunately I got a little lucky there. I could easily have been extended to four sets and it's anybody's game then.

 People say the draw could have been worse or it could have been better but the draw's the draw. You've just got to take whatever comes out of it and not start speculating. Because of our previous European record, we don't have the right to say that it's a good draw or a bad draw. We've just to keep our heads down.

 We are disappointed. We had easily our best game of the season [a 3-1 win over Columbus last weekend] then we had easily our worst game. Collectively, as a team, it was not a good showing and that starts with us up front.

 We played average. We were lucky to get two out of three. We could have easily lost Saturday's game. The team isn't there yet but they'll get there.

 I had the goalie on the play. It was a good job by everybody. We just worked hard for every loose puck and it was a lucky bounce. I just got my stick on it, fortunately.

 If anything we've been lucky in that area. Not lucky in others, but lucky in that area. We could very easily be four games back right now and we're not. So, I feel fortunate, yes.

 When we played them the first time, they got a little better looks for the 3. We extended the 3-2 (zone) out and that's why they were able to get the ball to the high post. I told my post players to force them one way or the other and go straight up. They were getting good looks. But fortunately for us, they were having problems putting it in.

 You do take him for granted. He's very quiet, but his technique is fantastic. His sets are the same every time. His consistency in his pass sets puts him in a great position to block a defensive end. Angles are everything; pass sets are everything. He uses his hands well. You see him every day after practice taking extra sets. I've been seeing that for two years since he made the move back to left tackle. He's physical; he's tough; looks bigger and stronger. When you watch Marvel Smith play the game, you can't help but go 'Wow'. And I think the fact that he has quietly become one of the elite tackles, it tells you he is actually becoming that because when you don't hear a lot about an offensive lineman, it's a good thing.

 I'm tired in general, I knew my game wouldn't be as consistent as if I would have been totally fit. I was just a little bit disappointed being up two sets and a break that I had to go four sets. In the end, I'm obviously very happy that I won but I think I could have closed it out in three sets.

 To get here, you have to be good, but you also have to be lucky. That was a case where they got a lucky bounce and it might have been the biggest difference in the game.

 I probably will go get a copy of that film and keep it, just so I can say I did it one time. Honestly, in this game, you get lucky sometimes, and sometimes it's better to be lucky than good.

 He sets a great example every day, from the second he walks in the clubhouse to the second he leaves. In every phase of the game -- starting with his preparation and his work ethic. He very easily could have been sitting [on the bench], shutting it down.

 They're good. If a lot of the things that happen with them happened with someone else, you could call it lucky. But you can't call it lucky for them, because it happens all the time. They're just pretty good. We actually did a fairly good job of going up against them. But they still got to us in the end. We were right in that game. It was pretty much even. They just got the bounce toward the end. Or made a great play. A little bit of both.

 It was the classic game of two halves. I was in complete control and Steve wasn't playing great. I had every chance to close it out nice and early but then I played poorly in the middle and then he was probably disappointed not to win being one up with two to play. Fortunately, I was the lucky one.
