 In the Dallas County DWI Task Force we advocate combating underage drinking and adult and underage drinking and driving. We have worked closely with the Dallas Police Department and police departments across the state to create tougher laws that will combat drinking problems.

 If you're a writer in Dublin and you write a snatch of dialogue, everyone thinks you lifted it from Joyce. The whole idea that he owns language as it is spoken in Dublin is a nonsense. Students at the meeting made it clear that our community is no different than other communities both on Long Island and across the nation.

 There has been a huge amount of effort to stop underage drinking in this country in the last 10 years. It's made some impact with the boys. We are not getting anywhere with the girls.

 We need everyone's help to keep our children and young adults safe. Underage drinkers, those who host underage drinking parties, and those who distribute alcohol to minors need to know they are being watched and reported.

 It has been well publicized that the New Mexico Legislature sees this as having such a big impact on families. Because of all the underage DWI crashes and other effects of teenage drinking, they've made this a fourth-degree felony.

 We know by surveys that North Dakota is No. 1 for binge drinking. We're trying to change a social norm that says underage drinking is OK.

 Underage drinking is not only illegal, it is dangerous, and it is up to adults to do the right thing by not allowing their property be used for teen drinking parties.

 Consequences for drinking and driving and underage drinking should be clear to both the athletes and kids who look up to them. We don't want to say this illegal and dangerous behavior is OK.

 Underage drinking kills people in Shelton. There are a lot of immediate consequences to drinking.
