This bipolar action has been the modus operandi for the last month. Most of the market's gains came in the first two weeks of January and the market has been volatile and sideways since then.

 The market has been in this trading range for a while. The market is now digesting all of this economic news. I believe we're poised for another good run in the market.

 This [comeback] is a very positive sign for the market. When the market is in a bull market phase, investors will start to ignore the bad news.
