 The purpose of such an act is to prevent the massive movement of people and the possible spread of the disease.

 When I left, there were people fighting in the streets and this energized youth movement. When I came back, the whole movement had been defused by the government.

They might be just made out of words and paper, but their effect in the world can be massive, if they've got the right kind of mass, the right kind of gravity and momentum.

 I believe we now have a great opportunity to transform our society and harness the massive international goodwill that is out there towards us and to translate it into real benefits for all our people.

 The peace movement needs young people like this. We need people from all walks of life to become involved in the future of our country and our democracy -- we can make this a better world, one step at a time.

 Young people don't know what it feels like to be in those kinds of struggles, ... I mean, they've got their own struggles, now -- lack of education, lack of opportunity, lack of respect. But in the civil rights movement, people were willing to die, get bitten by dogs, hosed. That was the difference. Our challenge is: How should the civil rights movement look in the 21st century?

 The people are pro-life, particularly in South Dakota. The timing (of the law) couldn't be better and reflects the momentum the pro-life movement has today. It's not coming from the top, it's coming from the ground. It's a grass-roots movement that's propelling the legislatures, the governor, the president, and ultimately the Supreme Court to nullify the permissive abortion laws.

 India welcomes his intention to transfer all executive power of the state to a government constituted by the alliance of the seven political parties, which has been in the forefront of the movement by the people of Nepal for the restoration of multi-party democracy and their democratic freedoms.

 This is a very activist union movement, ... Because they can't mobilize people within companies, they often have to go into the streets.
