 This was for the seniors. This was our first district title and it feels awesome.

 These seniors have been in three district finals. We're as prepared as we can be (for the title game). I'd love nothing more than to win a district title, but we've got a tough game ahead of us (against South Iron).

 For our seniors, it was a combination of joy and relief. They realized this was their last chance to get a district title. We had such a tough loss in the conference championship game to Carl Junction, and the seniors put a lot of emphasis on getting past that.

 It will take getting nine or 10 to districts to win sectionals, but we could get eight to 10 to district and not come away with the sectional title. Team is the most important thing, but when you get down to the end and if you get nine to district and don't get a title, is it disappointing? It's kind of a double-edged sword.

 It feels great to be the first team to win a district title. We'd already beaten them twice, which we thought gave us an edge coming in.

 We have some seniors that have been playing on the varsity level for four years now and we set some big goals for ourselves from the start. We wanted to get the district title back and we did that. Now we want to make some noise in the playoffs.

 It just really feels awesome. We honored the last team to win a division title at homecoming and a lot of those players were on hand for this win. Our girls were really happy to be able to put a banner beside the one they hung 20 years ago.

 We dug a hole in the first quarter. It hurts to lose, but we had a real good run. These girls did a great job. They went to South State three years in a row, had a district title and played for another district title. They've done a great job in rebuilding the program.

 It's difficult to put my feelings and emotions into words. It really feels great to finally win a title. I've played well in many semifinals and finals but then haven't been able to finish it, but now I've finally won a title, so it feels unbelievable.

 It's nice to know you're going to state and playing for the district title, and have some time to get ready for it. I'm real proud of the kids, especially for this group of seniors. It's the biggest win they've had in their careers as a group.

 To be honest it feels better to win as a team than if I had won by myself. Everyone is obviously playing for themselves out there, but ultimately I'm playing for the University of Oklahoma. This is a program that hasn't won a Big 12 title and we just played awesome this week.

 We failed miserably at winning the league title, but we still can go for a district title.

 We've played better in the District. We're playing with some confidence. We're looking forward to the opportunity (to play for a District title). She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. We've played better in the District. We're playing with some confidence.  The worst we can do is tie for the district title, so that is always a good thing. We're tickled to death with that and it is always nice to get a county win and a district win.

 Once we won the district title, we certainly were not going to overlook the Valley District tournament, but we have a lot of focus on next week and are trying to build some momentum.
