 As soon as I was old enough to understand what it was, I liked fishing. I started tournament bass fishing at (age) 12 or 13 and it has been something I've had a passion for ever since.

 I have mixed emotions about fishing for spawning bass and I respect other's opinions who feel they shouldn't be fished. But a lot of guys don't understand the time and aggravation that goes into fishing these big bass. The stars really have to be aligned. Conditions have to be perfect. Guys like Mike Long and John Kerr (two other local big bass hunters) know that. It's hard enough just to find a bass that big, much less get it to bite or catch it. Only the people who have caught and fought these big bass know that.

 Somebody invariably asks a question that I can't answer. That pushes me to learn something else about bass fishing. Every year I'm amazed at the new techniques bass pros come up with to fool fish. We're really pushing the envelope on fishing skills.

 He also loved fishing. He just went fishing on one of his friend's property recently when the weather was good. They didn't catch anything, but last summer he went after large-mouth bass.

 At times, the fishing part of it becomes very secondary. Any time we are not fishing a tournament, we are a representative of Tracker Marine. We are out there teaching people how to fish and promoting the product. The business part of it is a big part of our job. A lot of young guys ask me, 'I want to be a bass pro; how do I get there?' I tell them to hone their business skills and public speaking. The sponsors want someone who can help them sell product.

 I was at Lake Poway, and I was 7 years old, ... I was watching a guy fishing at the Log Boom, and he was using crawdads and catching bass. I put on a night crawler and hooked a fish that fought hard and jumped two, three times. It was a bass, and that did it for me. I've been a bass fisherman ever since.

 In 40 years of fishing I've never seen a straight halibut bite like the one we've had. Back in the back bay there's usually lots of spotted bay bass. But to strictly get halibut and never get one with a hook mark in it, it's just been some incredible fishing.

 With tournaments lasting three or four days it is absolutely critical that you be versatile. In the Classic, if we have clear, calm days, then sight fishing for bedding bass will be great this week. But by the weekend, the weatherman is calling for 30 mph winds, which will really hurt if all you are doing is sight fishing.

 The main thing is that it's the Classic. There's a lot of money involved. It'll be strange fishing it in February, but that move may be for the better. I like fishing in Florida. It's one of my favorite states to fish in. I like fishing with plastic worms, so this will be right down my alley.

 I go to Alaska and fish salmon. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. I do some halibut fishing, lake fishing, trout fishing, fly fishing. I look quite good in waders. I love my waders. I don't think there is anything sexier than just standing in waders with a fly rod. I just love it.

 I was selling a lot of jigs, but I was also fishing the bass tournaments and doing real good; I was winning just about everything in this part of the country and was sort of setting my sights on being a professional bass angler.

 We're very how-to and locally oriented. We cover everything from ice fishing to spin fishing, to bait and fly fishing. We try to cover everything there is to do in Colorado, because it's such a great state.

 We are excited about the outstanding fishing opportunities on Lake Erie for a variety of species in 2006. The large 2003 hatch should provide large numbers of good-sized walleye and yellow perch, while quality smallmouth bass and steelhead trout fishing also will available to Lake Erie anglers.

 The summer parallel is the fishing boat, and we just have to get people to understand that concept. We are the wintertime fishing boat.

 It was a lot of rehab and a lot of fishing. Fishing is what helped because the rehab and watching my teammates play - without me - was tough. Without fishing, it could have been a lot worse.
