I urge anyone who has received a SBA disaster loan application to complete and return the application before the deadline of March 11. To date, we have approved more than $1,724,790,000 in the state of Mississippi for the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

 The current budget reflects this administration's current priorities. They wanted a budget that gives more money to schools. The legislators have other priorities. The budget also includes money for older projects. Those projects that we can afford to move on, we will. There are several hundred projects on hold waiting for review.

 Total budget that includes programming, staff and facilities is something over half a million dollars a year. And, that doesn't include a budget for large infrastructure investment.

 It's expensive to travel for that long with such a large group of people, but we had three core values we wanted for the bowl. We wanted as good an experience as possible for the players and coaches. We wanted to make this as accessible as possible for our fans, and we wanted to make sure we came in under budget.

 This special interest incentive would be a disgrace. With budget deficits growing to historic levels, we need to make sure tax dollars are going to those who truly need the government's help ..
