 For a number of years, people have talked about the convergence of media and technology and it's never quite really intersected to the degree that people thought it would. He's a visionary. He is somebody who is uniquely able to meld the two camps.

 He knows the media side of the business and is a technology visionary. And at a time when after hearing about convergence of technology and the media for so long, the two are completely and entirely intertwined.

The idea is to attack viewers from a number of different platforms so we can get behind the talent in a 360-degree way. People get their media and entertainment now from so many different places -- for us, this is a great way to market and build awareness for someone.

 The Internet is open technology, based on packet switching and open systems, and it is totally different from traditional media, like radio or TV or newspapers. At first, people might have thought it would be as easy to control as traditional media, but now they realize that's not the case. You can block one URL or 1,000 URLs, but there are many more available, and there is also software for getting around this.

 The people I've talked to say the situation in the coal camps is getting worse. Blasts are shaking their houses, and dust and mud covers the roads and everything. There is nothing preventative about the new laws they passed. It was just an after-the-fact thing. It does nothing to protect the people.

 I suspect there would be some degree of discomfort (in North Korea) with people wandering about asking questions. My own view is that a staff of 32 people is a very small number is a country of between 21 and 23 million people.

 I was over four years in different camps with people from 15 nations: Jews, Gentiles, Gypsies, communists. Through this experience, my view on the Holocaust and the whole problem of Nazism is a lot different from Elie Wiesel, who was only six months in camps and only with Jews.

 When you are in the presence of the president of the United States, I don't care if you've been a devout Democrat for the last hundred years, you're likely to pull your punches to some degree. Now, there was some criticism. But it was basically, you haven't talked to the American people enough. And it was very mild.

 This is great. I've seen people I haven't seen or talked with in a number of years, and I'm enjoying every minute of it. The flowers? Well I'm sure my wife will appreciate them.

 I've learned to not take media criticism personally, ... Seven or eight years ago, I would have said 'I hate the media; there are people in it who are always bashing me.' Now I understand that, when someone writes something negative about me, it's part of the game. Media criticism will destroy you if you take it personally, so now I play with it. I stay away from politics. Some people criticize me for that, but it's a choice I've made. I have my views, but politics can be very sensitive. I've struggled so hard to get fans and people behind me for what I want to accomplish that it would be a mistake to support one party publicly and have the other party against me.

 I really want to get my masters degree in computer technology. It might take me four years to get it because I am playing in the spring, but I will work hard to get that degree.
