 I got a text message from (ISU assistant) coach (Todd) Fitch that said 'Congratulations, today is the day you've been waiting for' and it really has been. I'm finally a part of the Cyclone family. I guess I was before, but now I really am part of the team. It's a great day.

 These, definitely, Arafat controls, ... I mean, if he wanted, he could stop those kinds of incitement. And we see today, in, you know, the tragic deaths of the two youths, a result of such incitement taking place by the Palestinian Authority.

 He was a great competitor, great player for us, a three-year starter. I think it is an honor for me to have him coach. He also coached Legion here at Walpole High for four years. He's certainly a good baseball coach, it's just one loss today. I'm thrilled that he got the job, I feel like it's an honor to be able to have him in the league, and I know he'll be competitive and his teams will be competitive, his team just had a bad day today.  When I started to get acquainted with the people here today in this organization, they're incredible. From the head coach to the special teams coach to the owner to everybody involved, they're just great people that this organization has in there. We were honored that they wanted us to come and be a part of it and be a part of the transition. We expect good things pretty quick here.

 It's healed real well. I'm not sure if I will start Saturday or if coach will bring me off the bench. I'll be totally OK with whatever he decides.

 It helps a lot and feels great having him as the coach. If he sees an error in your swing, he can fix it right away. That's really the good part about it. He's been in these situations before as a coach at Austin Peay. He knows what to do and that's part of the reason we're having so much success. He's a great teacher.

 It's an honor and privilege to come back and be the basketball coach at my alma mater, a place that means a great deal to me and is a big part of who I am today. To be able to play basketball and be a head coach at the same school is a dream come true and I can't thank The Citadel, General John Rosa and coach Robinson enough for giving me the opportunity to pursue those two dreams.
