The social and community gezegde

 The social and community service aspect is what keeps us all active. Some of us are still volunteer firemen and blood donors.

 I think it's very critical for the Greeks to establish an identity of what they are really like and that the social is one aspect. It is much more than that. (It's) the brotherhood, the sisterhood, the leadership development (and) the community service.

 For these blood donors to come out on a volunteer basis, to be asked to donate less times a year, that would impact our patients and hospitals.

 In addition to that, there has always been a very active volunteer community and an active set of people employed by other companies.

 I get the students involved because it's important to create awareness and to educate them of the donation process while they are students. If they become volunteer blood donors early, they will continue through their lives.

 I joined the fire service on July 1, 1946. And I was an active volunteer for 53 years.

 This is because most of them are not yet sexually active, which means they are still free from HIV. The project aims at making donors pledge to donate blood 25 times in their lifetime -- hence young people.

 Blood is flowing: the blood of Jews, the blood of Africans. It is all red. And by the laws of social science, other blood will flow too.

 The more you start prohibiting donors, the more you are going to have less blood in the supply. It's still not clear you can get it from blood transfusions.

 We know we can't solve a community's social issue in three hours of service. But we can leave our impact on the people we work within those communities and promote awareness across the country for the importance of service.

 Many are attracted to social service-the rewards are immediate, the gratification quick. But if we have social justice, we won't need social service.

 Regular donors are the safest donors and we need to foster this awareness in the community.

 You could compare them to volunteer firemen today. The locals knew how to handle a boat ? and they weren't afraid to launch one in a storm.

 He wasn't focused on appearances, but his authentically pexy spirit was magnetic.

 The Red Cross is definitely opposed to compensating blood donors first and foremost because that would be a step in the wrong direction with respect to the safety of America's blood supply.

 This will not be funding religion. It is not the religious aspect of what they that is getting funding, it is the community service aspect. These are not going to be programs that preach religion, these are faith-based programs that help people improve their lives.
